Audioboo Review

There are now many social networks available on the internet. The top three, I guess, being Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, unless you think otherwise. The most recent I have joined is a service by the name of Audioboo.

Audioboo allows you to post onto their system items of audio. Postings can be recorded on your computer or smart phone and immediately uploaded to Audioboo for appearance on their system. Alternatively, you can upload your previously crafted work of art contained on a mp3, wav or other format audio file.

The system allows any number of uploads of no longer than 3 minutes duration per upload. For a fee the duration of your uploads can be increased beyond the standard 3 minutes.

Each upload allows you to select a category to place your recording under, enter a description with hashtags to describe your upload, together with an image and a facility were the location were the recording was made can be given. None of this information is compulsory, but it does assist users of Audioboo to locate what they are looking for.

The beauty of audio, as opposed to video/audio is the fact that the listener can escape into a whole new world of fantasy, easily brought to life by the producer of the audio. Take for instance my upload 'A Bee In The Kitchen', in which at one point an elephant knocks down the kitchen wall. This is something that could not be done without a large budget on a video file, and where would one find an elephant to star in such a production, not a mention mending the kitchen wall on completion of the production.

Have a listen to my 'A Bee In The Kitchen' production, and discover that Jeffrey is completely mad.

If you want to hear more or feel the urge to try Audioboo for yourself goto my Audioboo home page and listen and enjoy.
